embroidered sketchbook.

for a recent craftster swap, i tackled an entirely foreign project, and made a sketchbook from scratch [check out the big ass book of crafts by mark montano]!
i'm embarrassed to admit it, but i have such a hard time with simplest things -- including cutting straight lines, and gluing things together! :p
so, i didn't take any photos of the inside.



but, i'm pleased with how the embroidered cover turned out!

my partner just for the craftster fill-a-mug swap received her package,
so here are a few of the things i made for her:

i needed a fix.

after finishing up the craftster swap, i was going through stitch withdrawl!
i had an idea for my next project, but i'm still waiting for the item i ordered to come in the mail.
so, i made this little goodie to get me through until then.



whenever i stitch on the go, i carry all of my supplies in a little shopper tote, and have needles and floss just kicking around at the bottom of the bag.
i decided it was time for a small upgrade. :)
now i can carry around all of my little accessories in this cute pouch!
and i already have ideas for a coordinating tote!

as i mentioned in my last post, i just finished up my first swap on craftster. i received the most *amazing* package from la la laurrenn! these towels are so beautiful, i want to show them off to everyone i know! she even embroidered an apron, that i'm proudly going to add to my collection.
i am just head over heels for everything she sent!

i just participated in my first organized swap on craftster. i really enjoyed working on these towels, and spent a lot of time on them -- i can't wait any longer to put them up!
